Hi there, we’re Sun and Moon! We are bonded brothers looking for a home together. We’re about 10 months old and our foster mom says everyone calls us “gorgeous” when she shows them pictures. We had a bit of a rough start and were unsure if we liked being around people, but we’ve been making progress and are ready to look for our forever home. We’d love a home with another outgoing cat that can keep up with our energy level (we really like to romp around!) but we wouldn’t be suited for a home with kids or dogs.

Moon: I’m the more laid back brother and I really like exploring and investigating. And playing, I like playing a lot too! I also like to eat all kinds of treats and I’m even getting brave and letting my foster mom pet me while I’m playing and eating. Sometimes I even like to take naps near her.

Sun: I’m used to being the protector of my brother so I’ve been more unsure of humans. It’s taken me a while to realize that I don’t need to protect Moon in our foster home but now I’m starting to relax. I like to wait for my brother to explore things first, but once the toys come out, I’m the brave one! I’m still deciding how much I want to be touched, but I do like hanging out near my foster mom if she has toys or food. Even if I don’t want to be petted, I’m gorgeous to look at!

We are nervous with new people, so we need a home where the humans are understanding that it will take weeks-months to settle in. If you think we’d be a good fit and want to bring us some treats or watch us play with feather toys, reach out to the shelter to set up a meeting with our foster mom!

Adoption Fee is based on age:
· Kittens (8 weeks through 7 months): $200
· Cats (7 months through 7 years old): $150
· Senior Cats (8 years and older): $100
· Senior for Seniors (Seniors 65+ adopting over 7 years): $50

The adoption fee for adult cats includes the following: spay or neuter and procedure; rabies vaccination; distemper vaccination, microchip; and combo test of FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline leukemia). Other medical care provided might include treatments for fleas, ear mites, dental work or infections or other medical conditions. Additional vaccinations and medical care (including kittens Rabies shots if adopted at under 12 weeks of age) will be the responsibility of the adopter.
