Meet Spots

Bubbly, bouncy Spots has had a following while she waits to be listed for adoption...here she is!

A cat with a kind of boring name has a big personality! This outgoing and fun cat wins people over with her unique markings and love for attention. It is hard not to talk to Spots when you enter her room!

We had to wait to list Spots for adoption due to a medical need. She had some pretty yucky gingivitis, even though she is thought to be a young cat. We sent out testing and while it came back negative, we have been treating Spots with an antibiotic to help clear things up, and yay, it's working! Spots will likely need some extra attention to dental care in the future.

This playful pet can be a bit overstimulated at times and give affectionate love bites, nothing aggressive. She seems to really enjoy the company of other cats, so an outgoing feline friend would likely be a good fit. Given her outgoing personality, we see her bossing a dog around, letting them know cats rule and dogs drool.

A true fan favorite, Spots can't wait to find a home of her own!

We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires.

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there.

Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.

Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
