Meet Spot - Super Sweet Wobbly Kitten
Spot is a sweet, playful, loveable moderate wobbly (cerebellum hyperplasia) boy. CH is a non-painful, non-progressive condition that, before he was born, impacted the growth of his cerebellum, which controls motor functions.
He has adapted well to his condition. But he will always have a funny walk, splay out his back legs, have a wobbly head/body and fall down sometimes. He will not become worse and may actually improve a little as his muscles develop. With a few household adjustments, he will do well in your home.
His eating habits are fairly normal, and he uses the litter box well. He loves to play with toys and his siblings, other 'normal' kittens and friendly adult cats.
Though it is a little more work for him, he doesn't let a smooth surface floor stop him and can run when he wants to. He loves being petted and has a great purr. He will always need to be an inside-only kitty.
Spot is so named because he has one little dark spot on his lower back. He has two 'wobbly' sisters, Diva and Marie. He is shown with Marie, who has found a new home. Diva (dark calico) will be available soon.
His foster mom would be happy to talk with you about his condition and how best to blend him into your home. She has videos that she would be pleased to share.

When adopted, all of our cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Their vaccinations are current, they have been treated for fleas and worms, they are ID chipped and they have had a wellness check by our veterinarian.
At this time, our adoption process is primarily by appointment only. However, we are ‘open’ to visitors, although you may have to wait – only one family in a cat room at a time right now. If you are considering adopting, PLEASE COMPLETE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION PRIOR TO MAKING AN APPOINTMENT. This will help to make the process easier and faster.
If you are not sure of which cat or kitten you might want to select, just indicate 'adult cat' or 'kitten'. To access our Adoption Form visit: https://www.northbeachpaws.org/copy-of-available-cats.
Please contact our adoption coordinator at 360-660-4658 or via email at nbpawscats@gmail.com if you have questions about the process, or one of our cats or kittens. Please LIKE us on our Facebook page at NORTH BEACH PAWS. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
