Hi, I'm Sourpatch

I was confiscated from a hoarder situation where I was living with 60 other cats that were far from cared for. I then found myself in a huge legal battle and was trapped at the shelter in a cage for over a year and a half. When I was finally able to be released to a rescue, Carson Cats took me into their care, and treated me for severe stomatitis, ringworm and years of neglect (to say I was in a rough shape is an understatement).

The name Sourpatch was given to me at the vet during my care. I came in pretty sour, understandably so, but after finally being cared for and treated with kindness for the first time in my life, I blossomed into the sweetest loving cat.

You wouldn't believe my personality despite all I've been through: I am very playful, I love to sleep on a warm lap, and I'm very curious. I get along very well with other cats, or can also be the only cat in the home. To be honest, I've just been through a lot and just want a loving family to call my own.
