Meet this cutie named Snow White! She and her sister came into the shelter on June 27, 2024 as strays and are now awaiting their first adoption day. She is now 5 months old as of 8/1/24, current on shots, and just a a loving kitty once she gets to know you. She came in scared and unsure of shelter living. This can be very common with nothing familiar to them. She hasnt been around other cats or dogs so slow intros may be best to check . Shes hoping her stay will be short and that a wonderful loving person scoops in and adopts her into their heart and home. With a little time to adjust and settle in feeling a sense of love and security she should thrive and her sweetness shine brighter every day. Also a few things to keep in mind…kittens love toys and climbing so climbing post are always great the taller the better. Clipping your kitties nails reduces their need to scratch in order to file nails back….may require 2 people and going slow until they get use to getting pawicures. We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Petfinder as up to date as we would like. So please, COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to one or more kitties today! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery, and some vets honor the voucher 100%! Such a great deal -- while also saving a life!! All of our cats are tested for FIV as well as Feline Leukemia before being placed up for adoption.
Not quite ready for the commitment of adoption but would love to contribute to the health and happiness of our feline fur babies? We'd very much appreciate some litter, or food (especially kitten food - Purina is their favorite!). Maybe you will have some time to snuggle and love on them while you're here. It makes their time here more enjoyable when they get extra love & attention. Also, we need volunteers & foster homes! Come to the shelter to apply!
The shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm (we close from 1pm-2pm for lunch), and Saturday 10am-4pm. Hope to see you soon!
