I'm Snookie! I am a female, brown tabby kitten with a beautiful short coat. I was born on July 17, 2024. I'm the lively kitten in my family. My siblings Sugar, Rookie, Cinnamon, and Bear are cool, but I'm the brave one! I ended up here at the rescue because of my curiosity. I mistook a moving van for a fun plaything and hitched a ride, and my mom and siblings followed me. Imagine my surprise when I ended up here! But don't worry, I've learned my lesson, and I'm potty trained too! I'm friendly, playful, and energetic. I promise to bring laughter and joy to your home. So, why not make room for one more? If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes.
Meet/greets and adoptions take place at a site chosen by the adoption coordinator. If the cat you wanted to adopt is no longer available, please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through and it may be relisted. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations and worming. Flea treatment and veterinary care will be provided if necessary. If you are from out of town you will need a pre-paid spay/neuter receipt from your own veterinarian.
