Meet Smokey! This handsome 1-year-old boy is looking for a safe and loving forever home. He was sadly found as a friendly stray - he approached a kind person looking for help and trying to get into her home. He had a wound on his back and scratches on his feet, evidence of how hard life outdoors was for him. Clearly he was comfortable around people and likely had a home at some point in his young life, but had been let down.

According to his foster, Smokey is the sweetest boy. He loves to lay on his foster's lap and knead. He follows his fosters around and lets them pick him up with no issues. He is a great cat that just wants to be loved.

Smokey is FIV positive He would need to be the only cat in a home, live with other FIV positive cats or potentially live with other non-aggressive cats.
