Meet Skunk
Skunk was previously a stray with an unknown history, but was rescued by a good samaritan and taken into her home. Unfortunately, she was no longer able to take care of him as she had to move into a nursing home, and so he was surrendered to PPC.
It’s clear that Skunk has been much loved in his one year of life. He happily rolls around and purrs whenever he’s given pets, and sometimes he’ll even allow you to rub his belly! Although he is short-haired, his fur is thick and extremely soft, ending in distinguished points at the tips of his ears. We affectionately refer to him as “stinky butt,” both because of his name and the fact that he’s cute enough to get away with most anything. He’s a tiny little guy who just wants to curl up and get lots of love. He has reportedly acted very welcoming to dogs in the past, and although he takes a while to warm up to other felines, he can acclimate to their presence given enough time.
We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.
The adoption fee is $75 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
