Meet Skip
Introducing “Skip”! This handsome man walks around on 3 legs due to an old injury that was never addressed.
He’s spent the past 2 years of his life limping around a local trailer park, living outside and having to fend for himself. We know he deserves better.
Skip is a gorgeous, buff-colored Tomcat with big loveable eyes and jowls. He’s usually quiet but gets vocal when he gets excited, like when he sees his favorite human or around dinner time.
Skip is about 2 years old, and is a bit of a “chonk” at 13lbs! He’s very affectionate and is happy to be petted, and has learned to play with toys on his own despite his leg. He would do best as an only cat as the poor guy has had to fend for himself outside the first couple years of his life. He would do best with older kids as well.
The Veterinarian that examined him decided that his front paw did not need to be amputated. She said it was an old injury that has healed and it does affect his quality of life or cause him pain.
You might be surprised to learn that he gets around pretty well despite his leg and loves to climb up the cat tree and fall asleep. He’s FIV/FeLV negative, neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped.
If interested in adopting, send in an application. We will reach out once your application is reviewed.
