Meet Sirus

Sirus LOVES people and would be a great addition to a family that wants a friendly, confident, affectionate kitty who will become everyone’s buddy. He returns the love he is given in kind!

Sirus is what we call a “garbage cat” meaning he likes eating people food and will try to nom on whatever you have on your plate, like a garbage disposal, if you leave it unattended in his presence! We think he’d enjoy eating a raw diet if his owners felt inclined to go that route with him.

While Sirus does like other cats, he does best with submissive cats and young kittens who would enjoy playing with him. He's top cat and wants other cats to know it!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

We keep our Petfinder account up to date. If a cat's profile is on this website it means they are still available.

Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application and an adoption agreement on our website www.ASBrescue.org. Please read the applications throughly.

There is a $25 non-refundable application processing fee. This fee will be credited towards the adoption fee total if the adoption goes though. Typical adoption fees are $350 per cat/kitten unless otherwise specified. Adoption fees for purebreds, i.e. Bengal, Siamese, Maine Coon, are higher than Domestics and kittens are higher than seniors. Payments can be made via Paypal & Venmo (links listed on our website) or by check. Please include the name of the cat the fee is for with payment.

All required vetting is completed before cats go to their forever homes. This includes spay/neuter surgeries, shots for distemper and rabies (if they're of age), FIV & FeLV testing, and Revolution treatment for worms, fleas, & ticks, stool samples (if necessary). All of our cats are microchipped and it is the adopter's responsibility to keep the information up to date.

Meet-and-greets are only scheduled *after* adoption applications have been processed and given the first round of approval. We offer virtual meet-and-greets in addition to in person ones, dependent on the needs of our foster homes and our cats, that are also available upon request. For adopters with children, all children who are a part of the household must attend meet-and-greets. Adoption appointments are scheduled after meet-and-greets, once they've been given the second round of approval. We do not do gift or surprise adoptions.

We care about the longterm wellbeing of our cats and choose adopters based on who is best suited to meet each cat's individual personalities and needs best.

Please let us know if you have any further questions!
