Salutations! I am known as Sir Jasper, hailing from the fine city of Edina. A refined young gentleman of a mere 2 years, I seek a permanent residence to establish myself in. Prerequisites for my furrever estate include a quiet, mature staff of humans to cater to my every whim; a variety of comfortable lounging spots - big cushy cat beds are a favorite and allow for sideways biscuit-making, a unique skill I demonstrate as a reward to my well-behaved staff; and appropriately high and magnificent cat towers affording me the opportunity to observe and severely judge my staff from a safe distance. I am a dedicated misanthrope and do not tolerate being touched by human beings. Transgressions of my highly guarded personal bubble will result in sternly hissed recriminations and a well-placed swat. Keeping two-legged servants in line is incredibly exhausting work, which brings me back to the need for cushy beds. Service by the current help has been pleasingly satisfactory, tempting me to seek shorter and shorter physical distances during periods of parallel rest; I have come to the surprising conclusion that gracing the staff with my "close but not too close" presence as much as possible is strangely appealing. When the hoomans have pleased me exceedingly with their boundary-respecting and prompt food service, I bestow slow blinks upon them. The poor fools need encouragement and validation.

Accompanying me to my new abode will be my two delightful lady friends who bear an uncanny resemblance to my handsome self. Lady Juno is a ridiculous creature with no dignity or self-respect to speak of. She adores the human race in a manner I find perplexing and frankly nauseating. Chirping like a bird, rolling around, flaunting her belly, jumping, exploring water; perching on shoulders; attacking plants; chasing bugs ... sigh. This lost soul, also of two years, truly needs my guidance and mansplaining safeguards in perpetuity. Fair Jade, on the other hand, is a delicate, elegant young lady who is wisely cautious and suspicious of all things unfamiliar. Unfortunately, although she puts up a good front, she too is easily won over by the human staff and has been witnessed requesting caresses, shoulder perching and other similarly vulgar shenanigans. You can see why I need to accompany these sisters on their future adventures. I take my duties of making sure the ladies are well-groomed, constantly herded and fiercely protected very seriously.

Jasper, Jade and Juno's ideal home will be quiet, predictable and staffed with very cat-savvy people who understand shy cats and who will accept Sir Jasper for the curmudgeon he is and may always be; have plenty of time, love and attention to reflect back onto Juno; and be understanding, patient and gently encouraging to skittish little forever kitten Jade. Because of Sir Jasper's grumpy temperament a home with children younger than 16 will not be a good fit.

Sir Jasper is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments.
