Sweet, shy Siouxsie came to us in pretty rough shape. She had an extremely painful, old injury that required immediate attention. While her eye couldn't be saved, she felt immediate relief once it was gone.

Siouxsie may be shy but she appreciates petting and gentle petting. In the right quiet home, we know she will blossom and become pals with her person. We think that Siouxsie will be ok with another cat but too shy for dogs.

If you give her time, Siouxsie will reward you by being your companion for life.

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there.

Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.

Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
