Meet Shirley Temple
Shirley is is a beautiful cream-colored tabby with bright green eyes. She is the picture of elegance! She is also super unique - fun fact: 80% of orange tabbies are boys!
Shirley is more of a reserved cat, but she loves head, chin, and booty scratches. She will run up and chirp at you to demand more booty scratches! She has the sweetest little engine that starts up as soon as you start petting her. She is also a professional biscuit maker! She is always making biscuits to show her content. She is the most grateful girl around and will give you her unconditional love!
This sweet girl loves, loves, loves cat trees! You can typically find her nestled in her cat tree on the highest tower. She would like to request a cat tree in every room of her forever home!
She is a very calm girl and only gets excited for breakfast and dinner. She will jump straight down from her cat tree when she hears food. She does the cutest little stretch and then runs over for supper!
Since she came to us from a small outdoor cat colony, she is still learning what love is like so she will need a patient adopter. She recently started playing with cat toys she loves the little balls she can roll around on the floor herself. She also loves the standing cat scratchers! She is the perfect house guest and has never scratched anything else in the home.
This sweet girl took amazing care of her four kittens while on the streets and never left their side even when she was scared. It is now her turn to find her forever home!
Shirley is in an amazing foster home that is teaching her how to be loved! She is currently fostered with three large dogs and a kid. She is completely unphased by dogs barking, but she would probably do best in a quiet home. She is loving her foster home but is ready for a home to call her own. Dont miss out on this stunning girl!

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?
The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty youve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!
Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.
We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
