Hello, I'm Shelf! I am a male orange with white short coat. Born on July 8th, my siblings Cabinet, Matt, and Soap and I have been on quite the adventure. One day, we found a magical portal in our backyard with our mom. Curiosity got the better of us, and we leaped in, landing in this lovely humans home. I'm brave, but this was a new level of daring! I got my name as I love to sit on the window shelf and look outside and enjoy the sun. I'm also friendly and energetic, always ready to play and explore. My cuddly and sweet nature makes me a great companion. Adopt me, and let's embark on magical adventures together. We are also boxed trained, love to be brushed, loves toys of all sorts, and don't mind my nails trimmed. I promise to fill your life with joy, laughter, and endless cuddles.

If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes.
Meet/greets and adoptions take place at a site chosen by the adoption coordinator. If the cat you wanted to adopt is no longer available, please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through and it may be relisted. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations and worming. Flea treatment and veterinary care will be provided if necessary. If you are from out of town you will need a pre-paid spay/neuter receipt from your own veterinarian.
