Hello there, I'm Shadow, a distinguished senior kitty looking for a loving forever home. I was adopted from this shelter 14 years ago and lived my entire life with my owner and a feline, Me N My. Sadly, our owner found himself unable to care for us anymore, so we found ourselves back here at the shelter after our long time with him. My N My has found a new home, and now I am hoping that my perfect match is out there somewhere.

I'll admit, I can be a bit of a grumpy old man when I first find myself in a new environment. But give me a little time, and I promise I'll transform into the sweetest, most loving companion you could ask for. I may start as a shadow, but I'll shine bright as your loyal companion.

I come with a few special needs, including kidney and thyroid issues. That's why a vet reference will be required for my adoption. But don't let that deter you! With the right care and attention, I'm still ready to live my best life and bring joy to my new family.

I'm hoping to find a hospice home where I can spend my golden years in comfort and peace. A foster-to-adopt arrangement would be ideal, as it would give me the chance to settle in and ensure that we're the perfect match for each other.

While I've lived with other cats before and got along just fine, I do prefer to have my own space and would appreciate a home where I can be left alone when I want to be. Dogs aren't really my cup of tea, so I'd prefer a canine-free environment. If there are children in the home, I'd feel most comfortable with teens or older who understand my need for peace and quiet.
