Meet Sequoia
Sequoia is a quiet gal seeking a quiet home. She LOVES people and is a major purr machine once you start petting her. She enjoys cozy beds to nap in and getting lots and lots of cuddles. Sequoia is fine with other calm cats and would do great as a single feline. This affectionate ginger gal is looking to be your reading/tv buddy, tea time friend or companion lounging around on a sleepy day. If this sounds good to you, stop by to meet Sequoia!
Sequoia is about 1 and a half years old and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
Our adoption fee ($75 for cats 1 year and over or $100 for kittens) includes a free vet visit with one of our participating vets.
All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated for rabies and distemper and have been treated, if necessary, for fleas and parasites.
We do adoptions by appointment only. We recommend filling out an adoption application first; then you can be pre-approved before your visit. This way if you find a cat/kitten that you connect with, you can take them home the same day.
Applications can be found here: http://schuylerhumane.org/cat-adoption/
We have Open Hours on Mondays and Fridays from 10am – 1pm, Saturdays from 10am - 4pm or Sundays from 2 to 5 pm. People can stop by without an appointment. Please note we do not do same day adoptions.
Visit us online at www.schuylerhumane.org for additional information, an adoption application, to see more adoptable dogs and cats or for directions to our shelter.
