Meet Scampurr
Scampurr is a work in progress. Some might call her a "spirit cat," but, we believe she has so much more potential! Yes, she loves other cats, and will be a great companion to your cats, but she will slowly and steadily grow to also love the people in her home! She is definitely still cautious with her foster parents, but has progressed immensely. Scampurr is now reliably eating out of her foster mom's hands, and even lets her scratch her cheeks and the top of her head. She loves to sit in windows with one of the resident cats, to watch the outside world, but also to to be a part of the family. Her potential is limitless; please consider adopting Scampurr and bringing her into your home!
Scampurr would simply purr with delight if you would consider being her forever family! Follow the instructions below to apply:

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/
Filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response.
Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to:

We request $100 for each cat 11 years and over, $150 for each cat 7-10 years old, $200 for each cat 4-6 years old, $250 for each cat 1-3 years old, $325 for each kitten 6-12 months old, and $350 for each kitten under 6 months. These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!
The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
