Meet Sarah!
Sarah is a six year old, six toed (polydactyl) sweetheart!
Her elderly owner was no longer able to care for her.
While as a rule, we dont take owner surrenders (this is why it is SO important to have a plan in place for your pets if something happens to you!), one of our fosters took her in, but the fosters house was a bit to chaotic for this girl, so I brought her home.
My husband loves when I do that!
Sarah has lived as an only cat her entire life, but she has done well meeting two other resident foster cats. There has been some hissing and growling on Sarahs part, but no actionjust a lot of acting like a badass. she is currently on the couch behind me purring away, while another kitty is laying next to me.
I think Sarah would do fine by herself, or with another mellow cat or two. I think older, respectful children would also be fine for Sarah.
She really does seem easily adjustable once she trusts her human.
