Sarabi was welcomed to the rescue as a stray that gave birth at the back of a variety store in Hagersville. She had five kittens on April 9th, 2024, of which one did not survive. We were told that this was her third litter.

We responded to a plea on social media regarding the need for a nursing mom, as Sarabi had disappeared overnight and did not return to nurse her kittens for way too long. We luckily had another nursing mom here at the rescue, so we took them in and Claudia, the other nursing mom, happily accepted them all. The following day, we were contacted again with a happy update. Sarabi finally came back to check in on her kittens and was now frantic in search of them.

Sarabi was named by her caretaker after the lioness from Disney's The Lion King. She is extremely affectionate and sweet, and an excellent attentive mother to her kittens after being reunited with them. She is now ready to have all of the attention focused on herself, and needs a forever home with people that will love and deservedly spoil her.
