Meet Sadie
Sadie is the bravest girl. She sleeps on the way to the vet, she hangs out with the dog, she plays with the tiny human - everything is taken in stride. She’s super playful but not pushy about it.
Sadie says: I chirp when I run and jump and I know I’m adorable. I do love pets, and I’ll sit right next you, but I’m still getting used to lap time. I love lollipops, but any ball will do.
CHARACTERISTICS: Happy, Frisky, Active, Alert, Smart / Clever, Independent, Good-natured, Affectionate, Lovable, Can be held BUT on only own their terms, Talks some; Can hold a "conversation", Kingly (or Queenly), Rules the Roost, Very Playful, Wild at Heart
If I was on a dating app, my pickup line would be: I am a princess. Do you have a castle?
In a human companion, I’m looking for: Some pets and lots of playtime.
In an animal companion (house-mate), I'm looking for: Play with my sisters, but only if they let me be in charge.
Lots of people say: I’m a nose booper. I will boop your nose.
Despite my less-than-ideal start in life, I have flourished in FAN's care and: I need a nice place to settle down. Especially one with a shower. I love the shower.

It’s important to set reasonable expectations when bringing any new cat home. We offer the Rule of Threes.
3 DAYS: To decompress
3 WEEKS: To get familiar with your house and its routines
3 MONTHS: To settle in and feel like they’re home
Adding a new animal to your household can be a whirlwind of an experience for many owners. There is a lot of change happening for your new cat, so it’s not uncommon for the cat’s behavior to change accordingly. They may be acting in ways you’ve never seen before, and this can be discouraging.
These “rules” are estimated marker points where you may see behavioral changes from your new cat.
SEE https://www.feralaffairs.org/faq/ to learn how long it may take to acclimate your cat to their new home.
All our adoptable cats and kittens are:
— spayed / neutered
— vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP)
— microchipped, if they get lost (and found), they can easily be scanned and reunited with you!
— tested for FIV & FeLV diseases
— parasite-free (dewormer & flea prevention)
— provided additional veterinarian visits, if needed for any health issues
— conveyed to you with all medical records at time of adoption
