Meet Sadie
Sadie came from another shelter who had her in a "catio" with many other cats, and located near loud barking dogs. This was her very stressful life for over 4 -1/2 years until the facility realized they could not help her. She was released to Oasis and she was not interested in being around any other animals, or even humans. Over time she has gotten much friendlier and now looks for attention and to be petted ( but NOT picked up.). She loves her treats and to hang out on a cat post where she watches the birds outside or snoozes the afternoon away; or enjoys laying on your desk right in front of you so she gets your attention! She is a dominant female who tolerates other non-dominant cats as long as they leave her alone. She is finally learning to play with toys on a string. Sadie needs a quiet home, preferably without other animals, and with a compassionate caregiver with prior cat experience who is willing to give her the time she might need to get accustomed to her new life. Sadie is only about 7 years old!
