If you are looking for soft fur, purring engine, mouser, and independent cat, look no further. I am seven-year-old Esmeralda, and I can do all these things and more. I was surrendered to PAWS because a two-year-old child would not leave me alone. She simply stressed me out. I was not mean. I did not bite. I just could not settle because she just kept after me. A few times, I peed outside of the litter box, but if you ask my foster mom, I do not do that at her place. I really am friendly and affectionate and gentle. I originally was an inside outside cat, and I so loved hunting. If you would let me outside, I certainly could help cut down on the varmint population.

I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for my age. I am litter box trained. I am feline leukemia negative. I have been treated for fleas, ticks, and ear mites. The vet said I am one healthy cat.
