Hi there! Meet Russell, a playful ball of energy who loves to follow the other kitties around the house. He absolutely adores his feline friends and feels quite sad when they’re not around. Playing with his kitty pals is his favorite thing to do, and he always has so much fun chasing and wrestling with them.

Russell is still a bit shy around humans and is learning to trust them. He needs a patient family who will give him the time and love he needs to adjust. While he may not jump into your lap right away, with some patience and gentle encouragement, he will come around. Once he warms up, he turns into a purring machine.

He loves to play with all kinds of toys and explore his surroundings. Curious about everything, he is always on the lookout for new adventures. Russell just needs a family who understands that he requires a little extra time to feel safe and comfortable.

** Russell MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a second kitty with him for half the adoption fee!) He needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. A patient family who will provide lots of time to adjust, love, attention, and playtime is essential. **

He does great with other cats after proper introductions and would be best in a home without dogs. He does well with respectful, older children and is litter box trained.
