Rooster Tabby & Silver Mix Hopkins, MN

Rooster was born of a stray mama in a small town called Wawina, in northern Minnesota. His mama ventured into a farm and made herself at home, along with a few of her siblings. When the landowner found she had had babies, she arranged with Hero's Heart Rescue to take the little family in until the kittens could be weaned and mama could return to the farm to live out her feral life.

Although Mamma was feral, her 3 kittens are all as gentle and affectionate as the day is long. Rooster's sister is adopted, but his brother, Cosmo (pictured), and he are waiting for their forever home..

Expect lots of love/cuddles and definitely purrs with them both! They are well-adjusted and social cats and will run to meet anyone that enters a room, with motors running before they even get to you!

They would be excellent around children. They were afraid when they were introduced to other cats, but after a couple of days, blended right in with them. They have not been around dogs.

Presently they are 14 weeks old. They have been neutered and received both distemper vaccine and booster. They will be due for rabies in a couple more weeks.

We would love to see the two boys get to be adopted together and share their brotherly bond for life. (See Cosmo in a separate post.)

They are located in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, but can also be transferred to Minnetonka, Minn. (Petco), for adoption. Please email with interest/questions.
