He is the sweetest boy, timid at first, but once he knows you won't hurt him, he is all about pets, scratches and playing with the wand toy! He is a complete pushover for his wet food and anyone can bond with him that will give him time to adjust and be brave. Rocky showed up at a lady's home with visible wounds. Fortunately, he was helped and received medical treatment along with neuter, rabies, vaccinations, etc. Unfortunately, his visible wounds could be repaired but he tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FELV) and that, unfortunately, can not be totally "fixed" Other than his tattered ear, which was repaired with sutures, Rocky shows no visible signs of prior injury or illness. He leads a totally normal life and is healthy! FELV cats in our care before have lived up to 8 years and stories show that they can live many more. They do require a home with only FELV positive cats/no other cats since the virus spreads between felines only easily.
