Meet River
Siblings: Autumn (F), Carter (M), River (M) are another set of kittens saved from almost certain euthanasia (by Feral Affairs Network) from an overcrowded rural shelter with no foster program.
Brother RIVER is a Tabby with big, big eyes and white paws, and hopefully he’ll grow into both his eyes and his feet. River is playful, curious, and cuddly. He loves nose boops and racing around the house, Grand Prix style.
Only sister AUTUMN has a most unusual color for a tabby. It’s not ginger, but more of a light brown “ticking” akin to an Abyssinian or wild, undomesticated cat. It’s a coat color mainly seen in the bayous of Louisiana (camouflage for living in and near the swamps) or in Southeastern Asia jungles. Wildcat numbers are low (and in decline) yet some of them have bred with feral cats and their DNA hops into domestic breeds. Autumn is petite with the perfect little kitten face. She likes to play hide-and-seek without telling anyone: Her foster mom has “rescued” her several times from the refrigerator and various closets. Autumn is very cuddly and greets you with the cutest squeaky meow. Think of her as a Cajun Kitty!
[ADOPTED] Call him orange, call him red, call him ginger. CARTER won't mind, as long as you call him! He loves his humans! Carter is very loving and playful. He is a sweet boy, with equal parts cuddly and playful. He can be a ragdoll in your arms, or you may find yourself reminding him that you are NOT another kitten, if he’s in an especially playful mood. At a very crowded KittenPalooza, he was on the quiet side, respectful of others, never hissing or swatting, and played "hard to get" with his many admirers by pretending to be disinterested... (that is, until they picked him up and he was able to curl up like a baby into their warm arms!). Carter thinks everyone is his friend! He does not seem to be timid in any situation, now that he has been to a long weekend, sleep-away kitten camp. Carter won the lottery with his DNA. He's sweet AND handsome!
All three (3) kittens should be good with dogs and kids.
