Red was the most confident of his litter. He's a spunky youngster, smarter than he should be, full of curiosity and a sense of adventure. "Ready Red" is always ready!

In March of 2024, Felicia, Red's mother, a beautiful flame point Siamese cross, gave birth to a litter of five kittens in a small apartment on Pennsylvania Avenue in SE Albuquerque. They all received wholesome meals and kind attention until the family was booted out in August. (No pets allowed!)

Street Cat Hub neutered and vaccinated the cats in late August. Still on the street in October, Red leaped into the back of his caregiver's Jeep and into the carrier. He and his half-sister, Lacey, who was rescued soon thereafter, have been grateful indoor kitties since then. They are litter box perfect and eagerly scratch on their cat tree and TurboScratcher. They're full of mischief! Red wins the "circus-cat award" for walking on his hind feet up the stairs at dinnertime!

Red and his irresistible toy, Da Bird, are pictured above, in a time-out pose. He just can't wait for the next round of chase and pounce. In his mellow moments he nudges his foster mom's legs to remind her to scratch his head and ears. And then more play, please!

Red is comfortable with other cats and is ready to make new friends. (Pictured with his favorite playmate and half-sister, Lacey, above.) He enjoys human company and likes to be stroked. He will be a fine companion for you and your feline family.
