Ravenna Domestic Short Hair Grand Rapids, MI

Naming our 18-month-old raven-haired beauty was a no-brainer, as her name is as cute and adorable as she is. To whet your whistle over this wondrous beauty, here are a few tidbits:
*She was found in early January of 2024 but none other than, you guessed it, Southside Sandi
*She was spayed and ear tipped by a local organization as part of a TNR program; it is too bad that so much of her left pinna was taken off, but instead of making her look lopsided, we feel it just adds to her quirkiness
*She suffered from trauma to the tip of her tail, so the distal portion of it had to be amputated at the time of her spay; she experienced Phantom Pain Syndrome several weeks after her arrival with us, so I put her on Gabapentin which controlled her neuropathy in a jiffy!
*She is extremely friendly, and gets along with others
*She would do well with another cat who likes to have fun, so we don't want to her fly solo at this time (she could easily go into a home with a resident cat, or take a pal from Crash's along with her)
*She is playful and yet LOVES perching on the windowsills and bird watching
*She isn't crazy about being picked up or held just yet , simply because she is young and a free-spirit
*She was petty anemic upon arrival, in part due to internal parasitism; she is as healthy as a little 8# horse now!

it is plain and simple to see that ravishing Ravenna ticks all sorts of boxes (er, makes a lot of excellent bullet points), although she is anything but plain—and is simply the best!
