Meet Randall

If you are interested in any of the cats available at New Leash Rescue, please email adopt@newleashrescue.org for a cat application form.

Randall is a handsome boy that came to rescue after being a local stray. He was in bad shape when he was trapped, but was nursed back to health.

Randall is a good boy that loves cuddles, lounging around, and playing with toys. He has tested FIV+ (feline immunodeficiency virus). There are a lot of myths about FIV+ cats, but they can live long and normal lives. It is very important though that they are always brought in for annual exams and are indoor only cats. There is no concern with being around dogs either. Randall is good with other cats and has lived with negative cats in his foster home. FIV is spread through deep bite wounds. New Leash Rescue also has multiple other FIV+ kitties that would make amazing companions for Randall.

This sweet fellow would love to become part of your family!

As part of the adoption process, vet references will be checked on past/current pets looking for history of routine exams, DHPP/FDRC and rabies vaccines.

Adoption fee is $200 + tax (no checks)

Email adopt@newleashrescue.org with questions.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
