Hi there! My name is Purrdita. I was actually named after the female Dalmatian mom dog in 101 Dalmatians, but by spelling it with a PURR, I kinda liked it! I have been living on my own outside for at least 6 months. At one point, I suffered some kind of bad injury to my tail and lost most of it. Because it is so short now, a lot of people think I'm a bobtail, but I'm not. I just look like one now.

I'm super sweet and somewhat "wound up" a lot of times. That will probably calm down some once I am used to being inside and comfortable with one home and person/family. I can tend to follow you too closely and get around your feet a lot, so probably not a good option for an elderly person or anyone with physical mobility issues. I LOVE being petted and getting attention, but am not too keen -- at least not yet -- about being picked up and held for longer periods of time or being carried around. I LOVE feeding time, but I had a hard time surviving outside on my own for a while. That was a rough time period I never want to experience anything like it again.

Ms Tana will TRY to get a picture of me showing my short tail if I will ever be still enough to cooperate for that. Or maybe she can replace the current video with a newer one that shows more of my whole body - front, back, and both sides.
