Breed: Siamese - Chocolate Point
Sex: Female
Age: approximately 1 and 1/2 years old
Size: small/petite
Health: Good Health, vet checked, vaccinated including rabies, flea treatments, fully dewormed, full bloodwork panel and micro chipped, FIV/Felv negative
Note: Ming will be spayed once medically cleared
Adoption Fee: $250.00

Ming isn't quite ready for adoption yet as she is still recovering. we are looking for a foster home and hopefully one that is interested in adopting Ming once she is medically cleared.

Ming came to us through animal services where she was found and helped by a wonderful person. Ming had been hit by a car and was lying at the side of a road.
Ming first came through Animal Services and was taken immediately to a vet clinic. There she was examined and x-rays were done. She had a broken pelvis. She was treated for pain and kept comfortable. Nothing else could be done as the law states that animals are considered property and Ming had to go through her 5 day stray period to see if her owner would come forward and claim her. Unfortunately, no owner came for Ming and she was transferred to us.

We consulted with the vet and orthopedic surgeon who recommended as with most pelvic injuries cage rest. Ming is doing well, she is feeling much better and the injury has not had an impact on her ability to urinate or have bowel movements. She uses her litter box.

We are looking for a quiet home for Ming. She still is required to be on bed/cage rest for approximately another month.

She is a very sweet and loveable girl who is affectionate and loves to be held.

A bit about Siamese Cats: Siamese Cats are highly intelligent, talkative and sociable. They have a deep, loud voice and enjoy “chatting” with their owners. They are often described as being “dog-like” in their fondness for playing fetch and capacity for affection.

Siamese Cats are smart and sporty and need lots of toys and playtime to keep their body and mind occupied. Never leave one by itself with nothing to play with, or it will find creative ways to wreak havoc.

These entertaining cats love to be the centre of attention, and since they love to be around their family, do not do well when left alone. Busy families who spend much of the day at work or school are recommended to only get a Siamese if there is another pet to keep it company.


We are looking for a home with the following:
- understanding of the breed ie Siamese cats can be quite vocal
- a home where she is not left for long hours or a home where is away frequently ie travelling for work
- a quiet home that understands cage rest is important to Ming's long term well-being
- must be 25 years of age and live in the Province of Ontario.
