Posey is the prettiest girl in town - and she knows it! She’s never met a stranger, loves to be pet, and her most unique feature as a cat - she LOVES belly rubs! Anytime she sees anyone that could possible give her a pet, she flops over onto her back and begs for a belly rub. And with a belly that fluffy, who could deny her?? We’re warning you now, it’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.

She has a beautiful, long, luxurious, black coat, stunning green eyes, and the cutest smooshed face. Besides her looks, her personality is even better! Purrs are in no shortage around here - she’s the happiest lady all the time. Give her some cuddles and she’s absolutely in heaven. She has the most gentle, sweet meow that sounds like a song bird. All she wants to do is be with her people and be a lovey dovey girl!

Posey’s past is a bit of a mystery. It’s obvious that she was a pet at one point in time, but was unfortunately abandoned. She was found in a public park, begging to be loved and begging for her forever home - so we answered her call!

We’ll be honest, Posey is working on her social skills. Other cats are not her favorite - yet! Every day we’re acclimating her to being social with other cats, and she’s slowly improving! Dogs are not of any interest to her, so she would probably do best in a home without dogs. We’re not sure how she does around kids yet, but we suspect she’ll love them just the same!

Posey would be the perfect addition to a home where she is the queen of the castle! Posey wants it all about her, and honestly, she deserves that. She does well being alone while her humans are working, but she would absolutely love to be curled up next to you all day while you work from home. She is very well behaved, uses her litter box, and loves to play but loves to relax even more.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea-free, and negative for FIV/FeLV!
