Hello there, my name is Poppy. I came to the SCSPCA as a transfer from the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter where I was originally brought in as an Owner Surrender. Since this is my second time around looking for my forever home, I really want to make sure that this one sticks. I was having a hard time adjusting to shelter life, so I recently moved into a foster home where I am slowly but surely coming out of my shell. I have started exploring the house on my own and have even jumped up on the bed a few times to check out the humans.
