Popcorn (Multiple cat home OK, Dogs OK) Domestic Short Hair Fountain Valley, CA

An elderly woman with Alzheimer’s ends up bringing home a kitten. Due to her illness, she never gets around to having her fixed. One day the cat gets out accidentally and lo and behold, she ends up getting pregnant. The cat gives birth to a litter of five but she cannot care for them along with her two senior cats. It’s just too much and having 6 more animals is not an option with her illness and at her age. Her daughter and son-in-law are desperate for help as they don’t want a cat with five kittens. They are very lucky to find a rescue and a foster home that is able to take them.

Popcorn is a very gentle and easy going kitten compared to your typical Kitten his age. She. likes to play with her siblings and the other cats that she is living with. She enjoys climbing up cat trees, and playing with toys. She seeks people out for cuddles and attention. Popcorn loves taking naps on laps and sleeping next to you while you’re in bed or sitting on the couch watching TV. She loves sleeping on you so be prepared for lots of cuddle time! She’s very polite and does not bother you while you’re sleeping.

She loves wet food and as a growing kitten, she definitely needs it! She has excellent litter box habits and free feeds dried food. She lives with two small cat friendly dogs but she does not interact with them or is a big fan of them, so best in a home without dogs. She is good with older kids, but would not do well with young active kids. She would be very happy if she was adopted with one of her siblings or to a home that already has another young cat that she could play and cuddle with.

Adoption fees are $170.00 per adult cat and $195 per kitten up to one year old. We offer reduced fees for adopting two cats together ($315 for two adults, $365 for two kittens)

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, UTD on vaccines, FELV/FIV testing, and any other vet care that has been administered. There is an additional fee to pay with a credit card.
