Pluto is a silly sweetheart, who will never say no to a pet and 100% brighten your day with his goofy face and lil meows.

This sweet guy is a little bit of everything, but not too much of anything! He's a lovebug who adores pets and will happily ask for belly rubs (and never swat or get tired of it!), but he's not super needy and doesn't mind having time to himself. He's a professional napper and loves to curl up in a little ball for slumbers. If you pet him while he's sleeping, he'll peek with one eye and give a tiny lil chirpy meow to thank you. If you sit on the floor he'll stroll right up to you for pets and often crawl in your lap for some snuggles, but he won't pester you for lap time if you're busy. He often comes when called and will lope across the house to find you (unless he's mid nap).

Similarly, Pluto loves to chat every now and then, but he's not a total yapper! He'll happily greet you at breakfast with some adorable meows, or when you get home, and it's super sweet and adorable. Very silly sounds That said, he's very quite and chill at night and does wail randomly. Most nights, he'll happily join you for some quick pets, then settle down at the bottom of your bed for the night.

At about 6 years old, Pluto likes to take it easy and hang out with his human. He still like some good play time and even gets silly zoomies every now and then, but usually only once a day. He's a chill guy who mostly wants to relax. He gets along with other cats, but he's not super interested in them and would be pretty happy as an only kitty with his forever person/people.

We're not sure about Pluto's history. He was found outside and neighbors asked around and posted flyers, but no one claimed him. He was sweet as can be and approached every strangers for pets, so we think he was someone's cat at some point, but it may have been a while ago. It's clear he had been outside for a while because he was pretty thin, super stinky, and a bit sick. Luckily, he didn't let that get him down and maintained his sweetheart ways.

His stinkiness was from some tooth infections that we were able to clear up by removing the bad teeth. Since the removal, his tongue often sticks out a bit and it's so cute and silly. Teeth removal is actually fairly common in adult cats and it doesn't impede his eating at all - he likes wet food and dry food alike.

Pluto also has FeLV, which is much scarier than it sounds. FeLV is a virus that can affect a cat’s immune system, making them more susceptible to infections and certain illnesses. While the virus can spread to other cats through fluids (bites or scratches, which Pluto is not into!), it’s important to note that FeLV cannot be transmitted to humans or other animals. Although their lifespan may be shorter than that of other cats, the time they do have can be full of love and joy.
