We have cats available for adoption practically 24/7 at the PetsMart in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Exit 47 by Target. (Call the store or check their website for their current store hours.)

All S.OL.A.S. cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate shots, dewormed, feleuk/fiv tested, and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are an all-volunteer network of foster homes, we do not have a brick-and-mortar shelter, so all fur babies are also litter-box trained inside a household, and treated to make sure there are no fleas! (We don't want that in our homes either!)

Generally on Saturdays, we have a S.O.L.A.S. representative at the Council Bluffs PetsMart store from 11AM - 3PM to assist with adoptions. Cash only, as the PetsMart can not run S.O.L.A.S. adoption fees through the register. (Updated: 3/3/25)
