Sadly, Peter was just another friendly cat dumped in Harrisburg city, wondering the streets hoping to survive one more day. Thankfully, a special lady came to his rescue and gave him a place to crash. While she loves him, she knows there are so many more cats who need her help, and so Peter needs to find his own home. Peter is a very sweet and easy going cat who loves affection and while he doesn't enjoy living outdoors, he loves looking outside. Peter will follow his Foster Dad everywhere in the house - even to the bathroom. He knows when it's time for bed and gets snuggled in right next to his Foster Dad. Peter loves treats and playing with the cat wand, toys and laser pointer too. He even knows basic commands. Peter will make an amazing addition to a family who will love him to the moon and back. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
