Gentle, trusting, mellow, calm. CUTE!!

These are words that come to mind to describe Pete when you meet him!

Pete was born outside this past winter in a parking lot behind a rental home. He shared his “home” with many other homeless cats, somehow surviving the winter and then the brutal hot summer with the help of those that lived there before he got his chance to be a foster cat and find a forever home.

Despite his rough beginning in life, Pete has an extremely sweet and gentle nature! He was always one of the first kitties to run to me and others when we came, and he loves to be petted, picked up, and cuddled! He seemed to have some instinct inside of him that people must have some love to offer, and he decided he wanted it!

Cute as a button, Pete is so trusting; his first time indoors ever had him purring and making biscuits on a soft blanket! I can only imagine how much more loving and sweet he will become once he has his own permanent home and settles in with his loving person(s)!

Pete isn’t aggressive at all and gets along with other cats. He would be happy in almost any home where he was loved and treated gently. Since he is young, Pete would do better in a home where he isn’t alone all day, and so having his person around or another playful kitty to keep him company would be best

We adopt out in order that approved applications are received. We suggest if you’re interested in a cat, especially small kittens, please submit ASAP as they get adopted quickly.

Buckeye Pet Partners has a 5-year partnership with PetSmart Charities, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, and Ohio Pet Funds.
All of our cats are completely vetted and litterbox trained. All animals live in a pet and kid friendly foster home before going up for adoption. The health of our animals physically and mentally are our top priority. BPP strives to place animals in great homes efficiently to ensure less stress on the animal.
90 percent of our cats are adopted out within 3 months or less and we have a 1 percent return rate after adoption.

We approve applications within 48 hours and ask finalization in most cases to happen within two days of approval.

All of our animals come with medical records given at time of adoption. We offer a 14-day money back trial to ensure a good fit for the animal and family, and we offer a lifetime return if for any reason you are unable to care for one of our pets in the future.
