Pepper was born at Rags to Riches Cat Rescue, as her mom was dumped in the country and showed up on our property. Her name is Misty. She really needed our help as she had a fever, ticks, and was very hungry. She was luckily trapped very early in her pregnancy, and was able to have her babies in a safe and loving environment.

Pepper has 1 brother and 4 sisters, all with glossy black fur. She is the only Russian Blue kitty, a miniature twin of her mom Misty. They all feature the same slender Siamese bone structures and long tails.

Pepper is a loveable and energetic girl that is friendly with her siblings. She would love to find a home that would also like to adopt one of her siblings, as she is very active and playful with them but is not comfortable with other cats. She seems to get spooked by them and will let out a screech if they simply pass by her. We truly feel that she would really miss having a sibling to play with if she were an only cat.

Pepper is very sweet, affectionate, curious, and playful. She has a loving personality and a loud purr. She loves racing around open spaces and playing with her siblings. She loves cat trees and would enjoy a home that might have one. Her favourite toys are furry mice, and she loves batting and chasing after them, then carrying them around in her mouth.

A couple things that Pepper doesn’t like... One is a collar. She does not react well to them and should not be forced into wearing one. Pepper will also screech loudly if she feels bullied by other cats, but that's just how she communicates that she wants to be left alone if they're bothering her.

*** Please note that Pepper and any of our other kittens will only be adopted in pairs unless there is already another fur buddy at home for them to play with. We feel that to adopt them out to homes without a buddy would be a detriment to their happiness as having playmates is all they have ever known. The animal's happiness is and always be our priority. We are more than happy to recommend cats that prefer the company of humans rather than other animals if interested. Thank you. ***
