Peeps came to us the Saturday before Easter after his home was destroyed by fallen trees. He and his siblings could not go to the shelter with their owners so they were brought to us. Peeps will peep in on you, to size you up and then...ATTACK for some cuddles of course! He asks that you respect his boundaries, He doesn't care for being picked up, but that doesn't mean he doesn't need/want your affection. Peeps and Carrot are the only 2 left out of the 11 they were brought in with.


All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention.


Open hours are 12PM - 4PM Tuesday -Friday and 12PM-3PM on Saturdays or by appointment.


We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required.


We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays.


All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Sometimes things change and an adoption may fall through so we maintain a wait list.
