Meet Pear
Thanks to a generous donation from the Andy and Connie Ziemelis Charitable Fund, Pear's adoption fee has been sponsored by the Home Sweet Home Program!
Pear is a 2 year old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!
**Words from Pears foster mom***
"Pear is a lovely and energetic young cat. Pear is a petite and soft spoken kitty, but don’t let that fool you! She loves to play with her three brothers, chase anything that moves and at the end of the day cuddle at the end of the bed. Pear is very good about using her scratching post and would love to have them in her new home."
Pear is a sweet but timid girl who is ready and waiting for a loving and patient family to show her all the lovin' she deserves. She is a bit unsure and more reserved in new settings and will need some time to adjust in a new home. Once she's comfortable with you though she adores gentle pets and play time! She is a calmer lady who enjoys spending her days relaxing in a cozy bed or high atop a cat tree or cat shelf so she can watch everything going on around her. Once she's gotten used to her surroundings, she can be active at times and does like to explore or bat her toys around from time to time. With just a little bit of time and patience (and lots of love) she will surely be your new best friend!
Pear is a shy lady who is looking for a quieter and calmer home with children at least 8 years of age or older who understand that she may prefer her space at times and who won't chase or startle her. She should do ok with other respectful pets in the home as well given slow and proper introductions to one another and given she has her own 'safe' space to retire to if she should feel the need.
Pear has lived with other cats before and currently resides with some feline friends in her foster home whom she loves and relies on heavily for comfort. So, she is required to go to a home with another kitty companion!
