If you’re looking to add a super hero to your family, Pax just may be the one for you! Pax came to us with his mom and littermates in June 2024 and needed some additional socialization. He was always one of the most brave of his litter and he quickly became a volunteer favorite. After his neuter in August, however, Pax fell ill. He was immediately taken to 3 different veterinarians within 24 hours and was diagnosed with FIP. This once fatal disease made us scared for Pax, but knowing a treatment became available in June, we were filled with optimism. Pax successfully completed his FIP treatment and post treatment labs revealed that all of his values have returned to normal. Pax should be continued to observed for signs of relapse for 84 days post treatment (mid March), but we are very optimistic as he has shown no signs of relapse to date! Pax is living his best life and wants to find a family to share it with. He loves other cats, getting into mischief and snacks. He is a bit of a monkey and a home looking for an entertainer would be ideal. Pax is playful and full of wild ideas. He loves to climb and nothing is ever off limits to him, but he also loves to snuggle and be loved on and adored. Pax is truly about as perfect as they come and would love to find a home to share his love with. He conquered a scary diagnosis with grace; let’s get him the home he deserves!
