Patches is a bit of both worlds- very friendly but also very scared. She was quite happy curled up on the volunteer's lap during their entire visit, but when the visit was over, she hightailed it straight back to her hiding place. Our shelter cats can be so stressed out from all that has happened to them lately, it's easy to cut them some slack in the "scaredy-cat" dept.!
