Hi! My name is Patch! I was named for the big Tabby cat patch on my back, which is surrounded by beautiful soft, white fur. I was born outdoors. The good news is that I survived, since only 1 in 4 kittens survive being born in the wild. The bad news is that living outdoors requires hunting for food and fleeing from predators, including those big, noisy predators with scary tires on them! I decided that I would prefer to be an indoor cat, so ventured into the yard of a nice couple. The couple could not keep me, unfortunately, but they made sure I was protected and cared for until they could take me to a shelter.

I really like the shelter I’m at – the people are very friendly just like me! However, I would really like a forever home to call my very own. Besides “Patch” being for my beautiful coloring, Patch also means “Noble.” I always had a feeling I came from nobility! As you can see from my pictures, I am very prim and proper and carry myself with dignity. But the best thing about my name is that when a pet is named “Patch,” it conveys a sense of warmth and cuddliness and paints a picture of a cat who is playful and affectionate. All of that is me!! Please make an appointment to meet me soon. I would love to go home with someone who will keep me safe and warm and well fed so that I never have to be scared, cold, or hungry again!
