- Spayed / neutered, special needs. Partymix is FIV+. FIV is an autoimmune disorder easily contracted outdoors (where Partymix has spent his whole life so far), but cats with FIV are absolutely adoptable and need just a tiny bit of extra care. The ASPCA recommends the following steps to help keep your FIV+ cat healthy, as you can see, it's what you should do for any cat! Caring for an FIV-Infected Cat Keep your cat indoors. This will protect him from contact with disease-causing agents to which he may be susceptible. By bringing your cat indoors, you’re also protecting the uninfected cats in your community. Watch for changes—even seemingly minor—in your cat’s health and behavior. Immediately report any health concerns to your vet. Bring your cat to your vet at least twice per year for a wellness checkup, blood count and urine analysis. Feed your cat nutritionally balanced food—no raw food diets, please, as bacteria and parasites in uncooked meat and eggs can be dangerous to immunocompromised pets. Be sure your cat is spayed or neutered.

Meet Partymix
Partymix is a sweet, serious dude and he'd love to come home with you! He likes to curl up on the couch and chill, the perfect companion for a relaxing evening of Netflix. He'll make a wonderful, low-key companion for a home with or without other cats.
We rescued Partymix from an outdoor colony in Sunset Park, but much to our surprise he was already neutered, indicating he had an indoor home at one point in his life. We're not sure how he ended up on the streets, but he's very happy to be back indoors.
Partymix is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to be your new friend. He is FIV+, but many cats with FIV live long, healthy lives and have good prognoses with proper care and nutrition. Please contact us to learn more about Partymix!
