Meet Oscar and Mimi
Meet Oscar and Mimi, a bonded pair! These two lived in a semi-feral colony for about 5 years before coming indoors. They are approximately 12 years old.
Oscar is a beautiful pewter-gray with faint tabby stripes. He is very people-oriented and will sleep on the bed at the foot of the bed, for part of the night. He follows you around the house and loves to be petted. He is probably about 12 pounds, a strong, muscular guy. Oscar does not like to be picked up.
Mimi is a dark grey and brown tabby with lots of white patches. She is very smart and loves to chase the red laser toy. She does enjoy being petted but is also skittish. She is a skinny little gal and is on medication for GI issues, which have cleared up since starting the medication. She takes one dose twice a week in butter. She does not like being picked up.
The two of them curl up together and sleep in various favorite spots throughout the day.
From 2018 - 2023 they were indoor/outdoor. Since Nov 2023, a friend has been staying with them and has kept them indoors. They seem to have adapted just fine.
They both made great strides once they came inside - both enjoy being petted, purr during cuddle time and seem generally happy.
What Oscar and Mimi are looking for in a home:
- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They need a kind and patient guide to help them continue adjusting and feel comfortable with new experiences.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have no known history with dogs.
- They need children to respect their space. They would do well in a house with older children
- Mimi currently requires medication for GI issues.
All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
