Oscar is a sweet little boy who was pulled from the shelter when he was tiny. He earned the name "Oscar" from the Sesame Street character. At every meal, he would dive head first into the food bowl, seemingly content to live in filth. Now that he's a big boy, he's way less messy and takes great care of himself. Oscar absolutely loves his toys, especially the plastic springs. He could chase those all day! In his foster home, Oscar lives with other kittens, big cats, small children, and dogs. He's still not too sure about dogs but lives happily with everyone else.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
