Oscar Domestic Short Hair Bainbridge, PA

Hi, my name is Oscar! I am estimated to be about 2-3 years old. I was found as a stray, eating out of a dumpster to survive. Someone realized how nice I was, and how out of place I seemed, and brought me to a vet to be scanned for a chip. Unfortunately, no chip was found and no one stepped up to claim me. Because I had such a dazzling, friendly personality, a local rescue took me in!

I was neutered, given my vaccines, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. I use an open top litterbox with pine pellet litter. I have excellent house manners! I enjoy eating my Iams Urinary Care dry food with a splash of wet food on top.

I get along great with other cats! I can be a little hissy to other cats at first in new environments, but never aggressive. I just need some time to adjust and make new friends! I met a dog at the vet once, and that was very stressful. But given the environment, you may see why. I am not sure how I would do living with a dog. I do really well with kids though! Pretty much anyone who wants to love up on me is a friend in my book!

I enjoy having someone to "talk" to...my foster mom says I am a chatty boy! I like to be held and carried around. And given all the love and attention. I will even show you my belly because I love belly rubs too!

While I do love company, I can also be independent. I like to curl up on a soft bed, or gaze out the window and watch people and traffic go by.

I am hoping to find a forever home that is looking for a very social guy like me, and wants to give me all the love and attention...and food...that my heart desires!
