Meet Orville
Hello everyone. My name is Orville. I am looking for an extra special home. I am looking for a family that will give me all the time in the world for me to show my sweet side. When coming to the rescue I had all but lost our trust in humans and it has taken my siblings and me quite a while to learn to trust again. My friends however think that I am are ready to start my next journey to find myself a forever home. My forever home must have another feline friend in the home, or I can be adopted with another feline friend. Come to our rescue to meet me!
The adoption fee of $150 includes the spay/neuter, distemper vaccine, deworming, FELV/FIV testing, flea and heartworm preventative, and a microchip.
We are open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 12-5pm and Thursday 12-7pm. Adopt-A-Pet is a first come first serve facility and do not hold our animals. We also do same day adoptions.
Often there is very little known about our cats and kittens history or even current habits.
Expect a 10+ year financial, physical, and emotional commitment to this feline. We provide a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this. All cats and especially kittens are a lot of work and a long financial commitment. Please research what it means to have a cat and make sure a cat is still going to be an important part of your life in 10-15 years. All cats and kittens need a lot of patience and guidance.
Most cats who are in shelters will need an adjustment period after adoption. No matter how nice our shelter is and how much attention they get from our volunteers, it is not a home and they will need time to acclimate and get rid of some nervous energy.
