Born on May 1, 2014, Oates has had his share of ups and downs. After losing his beloved owner, he found refuge with our rescue, bringing along a lifetime of love and devotion to share.

This sweet senior gentleman is a champion lounger and professional snuggler. With his charming outstretched paw, he’ll gently ask for your attention and some well-deserved pets. Oates also has a playful streak—he’s a fan of string toys, laser pointers, and his beloved mouse toy that he goes crazy for! When he’s not playing, you’ll find him gazing out the window, dreaming of a catio where he can safely enjoy the great outdoors.

Oates is looking for a quiet, loving home without kids or other pets where he can adjust at his own pace. He’d be the perfect companion for someone who appreciates the tranquility of a laid-back, affectionate friend.
